Couqley is a restaurant concept established in 2009 by a group of friends to bring a casual Parisian dining experience to Beirut. Commissioned to design their second location in Lebanon, the original restaurant served as a backdrop to develop their brand and articulate their design identity. Inside, warm lighting and a floating bar define the central theme. Vintage French artwork adorns the copper brick walls. Outside, patrons are treated to an intimate café-trottoir dining experience. Key elements and motifs from the original location were replicated to formalize Couqley’s concept and represent their standard, for expanding to future locations.
